ALD Automotive | LeasePlan, the leading global sustainable mobility player, and BCA, Europe's leading automotive marketplace, have signed a long-term agreement to develop remarketing activities in Europe.
In this partnership, BCA will provide ALD Automotive | LeasePlan defleeting and remarketing services for a portion of their ex-lease vehicles in Europe, starting in seven countries - France, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Norway, with the option to add further countries. These services include vehicle inspections and the sale of used vehicles to professional traders through BCA's European automotive marketplace.
This agreement represents an additional sales channel for the new ALD Automotive | LeasePlan group, managing a total fleet of 3.3 million vehicles worldwide. It is part of the company’s diversification strategy and will complement ALD Automotive | LeasePlan’s remarketing channels, in particular ALD Carmarket, its leading international used car auction platform.
