Cosmetic grading

The cosmetic grading of the vehicle is done by counting the number of body panels with damage that requires repair. This includes: paint damage (deep scratches) and dents. Interior damage is described with photos and is not part of the cosmetic grading. There may be multiple damages on a single part/panel – even if there is only one photo of the part/panel – the part/panel is still always considered one and the same body part. The vehicle's grading does not include the condition of the tires.

Grade 1: 0–2 parts/panels with damage
Grade 2: 3–4 parts/panels with damage
Grade 3: 5–6 parts/panels with damage
Grade 4: 7 or more parts/panels with damage
Grade 5: One or more collision damages with possible damage to underlying parts or components
Grade “–” (minus): No grade specified. Refer to the inspection to determine the condition of the vehicle.
